Ergon Energy Cavern of Wonder
About:
The Ergon Energy CAVERN OF WONDER is an installation experience of sculpture and light that invites exploration and reflects the magnificence of the Southern Great Barrier Reef on our doorstep and it’s inhabitants.
A number of visual artists will work with community members and groups to construct a number of ‘Creatures of the Deep’ along with building the environment they live in using as much found and recyclable matter as possible. We are also working with the Less is More 4 GBR to reduce the consumption of single use plastics such as straws.
The cavern will open during the 2019 Milbi Festival and be accessible to families with entry at just $2.
Keep your eye out on our event page for workshops that support the Ergon Energy CAVERN OF WONDER also check out the Macadamias Australia ROCKPOOL PROJECT to see how your school can be involved.
