Jackson McGovern is the actor for our highly-anticipated Friday night performance of White Rabbit, Red Rabbit. Born and raised in Bundaberg, Jack graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium with a Bachelor of Musical Theatre in 2014, and he has already begun to make his mark on the professional scene.

His stage credits include: Mark (Rent) as part of a sell-out season at the Brisbane Powerhouse; Claude (Hair); Jigger (Carousel); Victor (The Wishing Well); The Baker (Into the Woods); and Bobby in American Buffalo (Matilda Award Nomination – Best Supporting Actor). He has also featured in a number of short films.

Originally speech and drama-trained, Jackson toured as a lead Shakespearean actor with the Grin & Tonic Theatre Troupe for two years and continues to work throughout Queensland as a drama teacher, adjudicator and freelance writer.

We’re delighted to have Jack return to his old stomping ground to perform in White Rabbit, Red Rabbit on June 30th.
