Creative Regions is a not-for-profit arts production company based in Bundaberg.  In ten years we have:

  • Attracted over $2 million in government funding
  • Brought nearly $3 million in contract work and earned income to the local economy
  • Employed an average of 30-50 artists a year through project delivery
  • Been supported by between 40 and 60 partners each year that help us to deliver our work

In 2017 over 18000 people actively participated or attended our projects and programs and 2018 is looking even bigger.

The Crush Festival generated over $1.16 million in economic and tourism impact for the Bundaberg Region in 2017 (report produced by IER Pty Ltd for Tourism and Events Queensland, December 2017).

What we do delivers new work that tells the stories that regional communities want to express, creates employment, creative industry development and cultural tourism and a general change in thinking about how projects can happen.  We challenge perceptions on key issues, how to engage with communities and show that there are possibilities for growth in the arts in regional communities.

Help us to continue to grow and offer a range of programs that provide social, cultural and economic benefits to our great region.  We hope to be expanding our services to a broader region in 2018, deliver a fantastic Crush Festival on behalf of the Bundaberg Regional Council and commence work that will explore a range of arts-led projects including issues important to youth, mental health and social connectivity.
