- Upcycle and Uplift
March 10, 2019
9:30 am - 11:30 am
This is a four session workshop series for women where you will be part of a small group of women learning to create a range of beautiful items using materials you would normal add to the re-cycle collection bin. You’ll learn how to turn junk mail into amazing bowls, single use plastic bags into very interesting handbags, and you’ll make jewellery from scraps of copper wire.
Tutor Paula Matthews (Crafty ReCreations) is a mad keen crafter and user of all things wasted. Come along and ensure her infectious enthusiasm for making something special out of something… well ‘not so special’.
This workshop will be a place you get to both create and connect, with Beth from Take the Plunge cafe facilitating some interesting discussion on the day..
The classes will run for 4 consecutive Sundays. 9.30am-11.30am.
Dates: 10th March – 17th March – 24th March -31st March
Cost is $100 inclusive of the four Sundays, all materials and a delicious morning tea.
Class will be capped at 12 so please lock in your spot to avoid disappointment.
