Creative Regions has driven this project as part of the company’s 2014 Anti-Domestic Violence Campaign, together with Counsellors from UnitingCare Community and Phoenix House. Counsellors used worksheets with young clients of their services to capture their physical and emotional feelings when confronted with dangerous or violent situations. Their responses have been interpreted by local author Cherie Curtis and illustrator Jacqui Read in consultation with a steering group to produce this book which is designed to start conversations with young people about their safety, how they feel and who to turn to.
