Creative Generators 2010
Two workshops were held in Miriamvale and Gladstone. The workshop in Miriamvale was attended by 3 members of the community and in Gladstone 14 people attended from the arts sector and Council. 6 Culture Clinics also took place providing advice on a variety of projects from youth theatre, to exhibitions and an online gallery.
Three project concepts were developed to take forward into the EOI process for the Gladstone Region.
The following is a summary of the 6 culture clinics held during the visit and others provided by phone and email in this period:
- Referral of an artist to a public art project
- Funding advice for Indigenous arts, theatre and visual arts projects
- Business development advice and referral to Arts Law Australia for contract advice
