- Various discussions have been had with Council’s Economic Development Officer, The Ration Shed committee and volunteer administrator and Museums and Galleries Services Queensland about the best approach in assisting Cherbourg. The Ration Shed requires support in seeking funding to assist an administrator to be paid to ensure that the Museum can capitalise on demand. Creative Regions has provided assistance to address this issues.
- Discussions have also been held with South Burnett Regional Council about The Ration Shed as a tourism opportunity. Creative Regions is working towards defining how this might work and will hopefully facilitate meetings between Councils to establish a concept.
