Bundaberg Region CCD Service Delivery
Community Cultural Development Services in the Bundaberg Region are funded by the Bundaberg Regional Council. Their commitment to CCD service delivery began in 2006 when the then Bundaberg City Council and Burnett Shire Council in partnership were the sole recipients of a special funding round of the federal government's Regional Arts Fund. This funding was granted for a two year period to support a CCD worker position. Following amalgamation and the acquittal of the RAF funding, Bundaberg Regional Council have continued to commit to supporting the role. Creative Regions Ltd took up a work plan based contract with the Council to deliver these services in March 2008.
Regional Arts Service Delivery Pilot 2009
In December 2008, Creative Regions Ltd won a tender to deliver a pilot project for 2009 funded by Arts Queensland and the Australia Council for the Arts. The project aims to trial different methods of regional arts service delivery with Creative Regions working in Eastern Central Queensland and parts of South West Queensland.
The other service delivery providers are CICADAS@RAPAD who are working in Western Central Queensland and the western regions of South West Queensland, and ARTS NEXUS who are working in Far North and Northern Queensland.
